Behind MIYAGUI is Patricia Abal: illustrator and creator of contrasts, of powerful images where the hidden emerges or unsettles when necessary, and the beautiful reveals itself or twists to uncover the truth behind the lines.

Shaped by music, teaching and visual language, since 2017 I have been working in a territory of my own that oscillates between the dark and the surreal — eclectic by conviction, never by accident. I have also illustrated biographical, poetic, children's projects... adapting to different styles without losing my personal voice. Using opposites to reinforce each other: light and darkness, the delicate and the strong.
